Welcome to Boots, Beans & Brews!

Mike's 2020 North Coast Chili Feed: Drive-Thru & Zoom

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: DO THE CHILI 2-STEP WITH US!

Step 1: DRIVE UP (1:00–3:00 PM on Sunday, August 16)

You’ll never get out of your car: Pick up your delicious chili lunch (or save it for supper) at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts. Enjoy our first-class, no-touch, curbside service at our lightning-fast drive-thru event.

You may not be able to see the big smiles behind our masks, but the farm animals we’ll have on hand will bring big smiles to you and your kids. You might even get on the radio – we’ll be broadcasting live on KZST!

Step 2: ZOOM IN & Let’s Catch Up! (5:00-6:00pm on Sunday, August 16)

The real fun begins at our informal Zoom family happy hour! It’s been way too long since we’ve been together and we would love to catch up. The Zoom will be informal, fun and we encourage you to sit back, chow down on your chili, show off your favorite adult beverage or share the camera with your pooch. You won’t want to miss our goat cam – our version of a virtual petting zoo!

With all that’s going on, this event will be a break from reality and the highlight of the summer. Please join us!

HERE'S OUR COMMITMENT THIS YEAR: 100% TO CHARITY

Because we never fail to be inspired by your generosity when it comes to helping our neighbors in need, 100 percent of the proceeds of this year’s chili feed are going to two life-changing charities:

  • The Sawubona Black Student Scholarship Fund at the Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC). We’re launching this scholarship in partnership with the Black Student Union and the SRJC Foundation – and the Foundation will match the first $30,000 in contributions.
  • 10,000 Degrees, which helps students from low-income families get to and through college. Most of these students are Latinx and the first in their family to go to college.
